Cannabis New Brunswick announced that they’ll be opening two new stores throughout the province. That will bring the total number of provincially operated cannabis stores to thirty. However, it’s noted that Cannabis NB will be operating thirteen of those thirty locations by June 2025.
Cannabis NB launched their first location years ago in Saint John. Additional locations came elsewhere throughout the province, including Moncton. The latest storefront will be located in Hanwell, NB. It’ll be considered the thirteenth location throughout the Cannabis NB Banner.
Privatized Dispensaries
Cannabis consumers in New Brunswick aren’t limited to purchasing with provincially run dispensaries. There’s also the option to visit nine privately-operated dispensaries throughout the province. However, it’s noted that all cannabis products are supplied through the NB Provincial Distribution System. These products will come from one of several locations, meaning that there’ll be a limited variety of cannabis goods when compared to Ontario or Alberta.
